ABOUT

What is a Masonic Lodge?
The word "Lodge" means both a group of Masons meeting together as well as the room or building in which they meet. Masonic buildings are sometimes called "temples" because the original meaning of the term was "place of knowledge" and Masonry encourages the advancement of knowledge.
Glasgow Lodge #485 History
Our lodge was Constituted February 2, 1871 and originally did not have its own lodge building. Over many years and many changes of meeting locations Glasgow Lodge finally constructed a lodge building in Shippingport, PA. In recent years the building has underwent many renovations to secure the lodges stability for the future. There are plans to continue to improve the building in the near future.
